A Meditation after Holy Mass
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
I kneel down in prayer,
After receiving Holy Communion,
And I close my eyes and fold my hands;
In my mind’s eye, I see Baby Jesus,
Lying peacefully on the manger of my tongue.
Then, I feel the warm gentle hands of
Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal,
And they are clasped around my own;
She is humbly kneeling in prayer,
With her compassionate eyes
Fixed on the Babe of Divine Mercy,
Who rests benevolently within me.
I briefly reconsecrate my life
To Baby Jesus through Our Lady,
Then, I sincerely present all
My special intentions to her,
And she prays for each of them
With great love and holy fervor.
Good St. Joseph is kneeling at my side,
Silently praying for my intentions
In one accord with the Mystical Rose,
And their prayers rise up to Heaven,
Like sweet music, in a symphony of love.
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Amen.
