PRACTICING THE CONTRARY VIRTUE

I now turn my heart to you, O Lord,

I will practice the contrary virtue;

I rejoice in you, Christ Crucified,

And I say, “Jesus, I trust in you!”

With a heart full of love,

I kiss your sacred feet,

So that what is bitter

May soon become sweet!
