Inspired by St. Paul the Apostle
Dear St. Michael the Brave,
As the great warrior angel,
You are ready for the spiritual battle,
Always sober, vigilant, and alert;
Then, in the midst of black terror,
You slay the red dragon of fear,
And brandish the sword of the Spirit,
The wondrous Word of God;
Teach us to draw our strength
From the Lord and His mighty power,
So that we too may be transformed into
Courageous soldiers of Christ the King.
